I worked on this project led by Waggonner & Ball Architects in an initial stage of design, creating models that showed our explorations of landscape adjustment to the community around Seaside Bridgeport. Seaside Park in South Bridgeport was designed by Fredrick Law Olmsted and so we also looked into his strategies for working with level changes into his designs in order to consider a historically-informed and sensitive solution. The project has federal funds assigned to the state of Connecticut, so the client was the community and all the residents at potential risk due to sea levels rising.
